The West Liberty Community School Board of Education is seeking candidates to run for three seats on the board. Nomination packets can be obtained from district business manager Abby Ortiz at the Administration Offices at 1103 Elm Street in West Liberty and should be returned no later than Sept. 21.
School board elections will take place Nov. 7.
Terms expiring on the board this year include the seat of president Jacob Burroughs, director Jeff Laughlin and director Carla Shield. Other members of the board include Rebecca Vargas and Edward Mareno.
The board meets on the first and third Mondays of the month beginning at 6 p.m. at the school district administration offices. Anyone is welcome to attend.
