Kiley Langley, of Wilton, and her wether, Pablo, competed in the Iowa State Fair Market Sheep Show, where Pablo was named the Grand Champion Market Lamb out of 321 entries.

This victory is the culmination of a summer full of hard work and dedication. Kiley and Pablo have been training and competing together all season, and their efforts have paid off in a big way. The duo won their county fair, were Champions at the Best of the Best, and were named the All Iowa Showdown Champion Market Lamb.

Now, Kiley has earned a spot in the prestigious Iowa Foundation for Agricultural Achievement Sale of Champions, which will take place on Aug. 17 at 2 p.m. This is a big deal, as it’s a chance for her to showcase Pablo to potential buyers from all over the state.

To participate, Kiley needs to raise at least $5,000 If interested in donating towards her goal, please go to the Iowa Foundation for Agricultural Achievement website. Select the “Sale of Champions” icon at the top of the screen and then scroll towards the bottom where you will see “2024 Sale of Champions Exhibitors” Select the “Grand Champion FFA Market Lamb” icon.
