El líder de este emocionante viaje será el profesor de español, el Señor Mark Plum. El profesor está ansioso por compartir todos los detalles emocionantes con ustedes. Para mantenerlos informados, habrá una reunión informativa el lunes 23 de octubre a las 6:30 pm en la biblioteca de la escuela secundaria. En la reunión informativa, se proporcionará información detallada sobre los costos del viaje, opciones de pago y posibles programas de becas o recaudación de fondos.
Este viaje será una oportunidad única para que los estudiantes de West Liberty se sumerjan en la rica cultura, historia y belleza de España. Ella recomienda estas experiencias ya que dice que es una de las mejores maneras de expandir tu cosmovisión y aprender de otras culturas distintas a las tuyas.
Los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de experimentar de primera mano la cultura española. Los alumnos tendrán la oportunidad de visitar Barcelona, Madrid & Andalucía- ciudades distintas con mucha historia, arte, y más. Para muchos, será su primera vez fuera del país y podrán conectar lo que ya han aprendido en sus clases–especialmente los estudiantes del programa bilingüe. Esta será una oportunidad ideal para practicar sus habilidades de comunicación en otra lengua. Los viajes grupales crean la oportunidad perfecta para hacer nuevos amigos y forjar vínculos que durarán toda la vida.

An Adventure in Spain for West Liberty students
Students in grades 7-12 have the exciting opportunity to embark on an unforgettable adventure to Spain in 2025. The leader of this trip will be Spanish teacher, Mr. Mark Plum. He is eager to share all the exciting details with you. To keep you informed, there will be an informational meeting on Monday, October 23 at 6:30 pm in the high school library. At the informational meeting, detailed information about trip costs, payment options, and possible scholarship or fundraising programs will be provided.
This trip will be a unique opportunity for West Liberty students to immerse themselves in the rich culture, history and beauty of Spain. From the vibrant city of Barcelona to the breathtaking works of art at the Prado Museum in Madrid, this educational experience will enrich their lives in many ways.
In the past, other teachers have taken West Liberty students to Europe. Former art teacher Deb Weiss took students abroad. She recommends these experiences as she says it is one of the best ways to expand your worldview and learn about cultures other than your own.
Students will have the opportunity to experience Spanish culture first hand. From the delicious food and exciting music to the breathtaking architecture, this trip will be a life lesson. Students will have the opportunity to visit Barcelona, Madrid and Andalusia - different cities with a lot of history, art, and more. For many, it will be their first time out of the country, and they will be able to connect what they have already learned in their classes - especially students in the dual program. This will be an ideal opportunity to practice their communication skills in another language. Group trips create the perfect opportunity to make new friends and forge bonds that will last a lifetime.
