Due to a high demand, a special blood drive will be held in West Liberty on Monday, March 22, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. with the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center Bloodmobile taking donations in the parking area of First Church United.
Officials at the center said many area residents who donated in February will not be eligible to donate at the event, but can do so at the Aquarius Club sponsored event on April 5. The special drive is hoped to get new donors or people who missed the February drive. Anyone with questions can call 800-747-5401.
