West Liberty’s Run for the Schools will be held Sunday, Oct. 1, starting at West Liberty High School, 310 W. Maxson Ave., beginning at 1 p.m.
Registration should be made by Sept. 13 in order to receive a Run for the Schools t-shirt and medal.
Runners can stay posted with updates on the race and sponsors on Facebook.
The logo for the event was designed by David Hernandez, which will be used on promotional materials.
The 5K race will leave from the high school north to East Maxson Avenue for a half block, then go south on Heritage Trail and through the streets of West Liberty, ending at the high school.
The race has not been run for several years because of the COVID-19 pandemic but officials are anxious to get the fundraiser back to help benefit school programs.
