Room for 125 more Muscatine County Freedom Rock pavers

Orders are being taken by the Muscatine County Freedom Rock committee for a second installation of engraved pavers that will take place in late spring or early summer.

“We have room for about 125 more engraved pavers,” said Ted Marolf. “These will be added to the 500-plus pavers that were installed last year at the Muscatine County Freedom Rock site in front of the Rock Island Line Depot in downtown Wilton.”

“It’s a great way to remember your fathers, mothers, aunts, uncles, cousins and all those who served in our military services,” Marolf continued. “We’ll be taking orders for pavers until April 1. At that point, we’ll send the orders off for engraving with the installation taking place sometime in the May-June time frame. Go to our website to print out a form, or give us a call at 563-554-4750 and we’ll walk you through the ordering process and answer any questions you might have.”

Paver order forms can be printed from the Freedom Rock website at www.muscatinecountyfreedomrock.com or hard copies can be picked up at the Wilton Development Corporation office at Wilton City Hall. Information is also available at the Muscatine County Freedom Rock Facebook page.
