Robert Lee Thomas, 93, of Nichols, died July 7, 2021 at Bickford Assisted Living in Muscatine.
No services are planned. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is caring for Robert’s family.
Robert was born July 5, 1928 in Missouri, the son of Harry and Lois Thomas. Robert had served 23 years in the United States Army and later worked as a Federal Marshall in Kansas City for 15 years.
On Feb. 11, 2007, he was united in marriage to Ruth Barrett Allen. He was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Nichols, one daughter, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two grand children and his first wife, Loretta.
