The westbound Interstate 80 rest area near Wilton will close Sunday evening through Dec. 8 because of nearby roadwork.
The rest area at milepost 270 will be closed while a temporary ramp is built for work on the Sugar Creek bridge, Iowa Department of Transportation representatives said Tuesday.
The rest area will reopen when that connection is complete.
While the rest area is closed, drivers may find find services at exits 284 (Walcott), 267 (Tipton), and 265 (Atalissa).
