Vicky Jo Skubal was born on Oct. 25, 1953, in Muscatine, the daughter of Ronald Vince and Jewel Arlene (Shaw) Skubal. She was a 1972 graduate of Muscatine High School.

Vicky worked at Heinz, Sheller Globe and groomed dogs, but most recently was an in-home health care provider. Vicky attended the Jesus Mission and enjoyed fishing, camping, being in the outdoors, had a love of animals - especially dogs - visiting with people, playing games, going to the casino, watching Scott’s swim meets when he was in high school and watching Western movies, but most of all she dearly loved to spend time with her family.

Vicky will be deeply missed by her son, Scott (Gina) Skubal of Atalissa as well as two grandchildren, Katlyn and Conner. Other survivors include siblings Chris Shaw of Georgia, Richard Skubal of Colorado and Randy (Reneta) Skubal of Columbus Junction as well as four nieces, Jenna, Raciel, Briana and Amanda.

Vicky was preceded in death by her parents.
