Elva Cordova Vargas, 79, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021 at her home in West Liberty.
Family graveside services were held Wednesday, Jan. 20, at the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty.

Elva was born Feb. 7, 1941 in Mexico. She moved to Iowa 42 years ago and worked for Louis Rich Foods/West Liberty Foods for 36 years, retiring in 2013.
She enjoyed being outdoors, reading her bible and most important to her was her family and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family.
She is survived by three granddaughters including Yolanda Coreas of West Liberty, Claudia Vargas of Davenport and Julissa Vargas of Muscatine, as well as five great grandchildren including Rosemary, Adrian, Daniel, Camila and Sophia.
