Jeshia Saldana Torres, 26, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021.
Funeral service were held Sunday, September 12, at Iglesia Torre Fuerte in Muscatine. Graveside service was held Sunday afternoon, Sept. 12, 2021 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is caring for Jeshia’s family.
Jeshia was born Oct. 28, 1994 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Jessenia Torres and Rafael Saldana. On July 12, 2019 she was united in marriage to Xavier Alicea Valle in Muscatine.
Jeshia was employed at Procter and Gamble in Iowa City. She was an excellent daughter, mother and wife. She was affectionate, kind and charismatic, she enjoyed helping others, everyone who knew her carried her mark.
She is survived by her husband, Xavier; a son, Damian; mother Jessenia (Hachmaan) Valle, father Rafael, and three brothers including Balian Vachier, Hachmaan Valle and Stanley Saldana.
Also surviving are maternal grandparents Alba Garcia and Victor Torres Evquilin, as well as paternal grandparent Carmen Benabe, as well as father in law Alberto Alicea and Migdalia Valle Izquierdo.
