Jane was born March 23, 1943 in New York, the daughter of Mack and Marjorie (Fulton) Harrell. She was a graduate of Denton, Texas High School in 1961 and North Texas State University in 1964.

Jane had been employed with Texas Specialties, a commercial insurance company in Rockwall, Texas until her retirement.

She was a member of West Liberty Christian Fellowship Church, Ridin High Cowboy Church where she was active as one of the arena team planners for Play Day, a church sponsored youth rodeo.

She was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and was a member and served on the board of Australian Shepherds Club of America and was active in competition dog trials.

Jane is survived by her husband, Gary of West Liberty; a step-son, Nathan (Kim) Nealson of Grimes, Iowa and a granddaughter, Kinsey. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Lynn and Bud.
