Homecoming update for WLHS

West Liberty High School will crown their 2020 Homecoming King and Queen on Tuesday, Oct. 20. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. on the track, in front of the home bleachers at Memorial Field.
The West Liberty High School Pep Band, cheerleaders and dance team will all perform, along with the highly anticipated Mom and Pop dance.
The evening will conclude with the coronation, and crowning of the 2020 Homecoming King and Queen. Vieing for queen this year is Yaire Filerio, Janey Gingerich, Isabel Morrison, Abby TanChinh and Naylea Verdinez, Candidates for king this year include Alex Beaver, Austin Elizalde, Sam Gingerich, Lake Newton and Chance Thrasher.
All attendees will be required to wear a face covering and follow social distancing guidelines by remaining six feet apart from other spectators outside of your group.
The district asks that participants please follow seating protocols set in place by using every other row of bleachers.
Anyone is welcome to attend.
