Eastern Iowa Light and Power Cooperative held its annual meeting Sept. 10 online as a Zoom meeting due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the annual meeting, the board of directors met in a reorganizational session and the following directors were elected to the executive committee: Gary Kester, Burlington, president; Tom Hotz, Lone Tree, vice president; Kathy Wunderlich, Danville, secretary; Ken Purdy, Columbus Junction, treasurer; Kurt Olson, Grand Mound, assistant secretary.
During a series of district meetings in July and August, five Cooperative members were elected to three-year terms on the board of directors. These include: Joel Carstensen, Charlotte, District 1; Michael Bixler, Clarence, District 2; Mike Shuger, Wilton, District 3; Dan Heater, Riverside, District 4; and Robert “Skip” Crew, Mediapolis, District 5.
Those directors began their new terms of office at the annual meeting.
