COVID-19’s latest victim, for the second year in a row, is the annual Kimberly Park Community Easter Egg Hunt put on by the Sons of the Mansell L. Phillips American Legion Post 509, it was learned last week from Brett Akers, a member of the group.
Akers said for the safety of families and the community, the event “unfortunately” had to be cancelled again this year, initially scheduled for Saturday, April 3, the day before Easter.
