Dorothy died on Sept. 17, 2020 at The Waters of Mountain View nursing home in Mountain View, Arkansas.
She was born on Sept. 10, 1928 in Stanwood, Iowa, to the late Louis Niles and Bernice Fell.
Most of Dorothy’s life was spent in Wisconsin and Iowa, being a farmer’s wife and homemaker. She also worked at Crestview Care Center in housekeeping in West Branch, and at Louis Rich Foods in West Liberty, where she later retired.
She is survived by her husband Charles (Joe) Dennis of Mountain View, Arkansas; a sister, Cindy Niles of Iowa City, Iowa; as well as five children, including Karl Q. Anderson Jr. (wife) Sarah of Lublin, Wisconsin, Glen E. Anderson of Connecticut, Karlene L. Hurley of London, Ohio, Diane I. Love of Hartford, Wisconsin, and Lynda A. Amis (husband) Lance of Timbo, Arizona.
Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren, and three great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Bernice; a grandchild, Kendall Allbrecht, a son, Michael L. Erboe and a daughter, Pamela J. Allbrecht.
As per her wishes, she was cremated. A memorial gathering will be held in her honor at a future date in Muscatine, Iowa.
