County Road F58 now open between Durant and Walcott

County Road F58 road work completed between Durant and Walcott—Contractor Hagerty Earthworks LLC of Muscatine was the main contractor, and Manatts out of Brooklyn Iowa did the subdrain tile work along a stretch of Historic Highway 6 between Durant and Walcott that had been closed since May. Cost for the project was roughly $1.157 million. Muscatine County Assistant Engineer Bryan Horesowsky said, “This is just a small project to one that will be continuing that will make the road look wider, but that project won't start until 2022 (estimated time) with a projected cost of around $5 million.”
