The City of Atalissa and the Atalissa Fire Department are combining efforts in providing two different Halloween events for the upcoming holiday.
According to city clerk Samantha Parry, the city will host its annual Truck or Treat event on Friday, Oct. 30 in front of the fire station from 6-8 p.m. Anyone wishing to set up for the event to pass out treats should arrive before 5:45 p.m. All the local children from the area are welcome to participate.
On Saturday, Oct. 31, the firemen will host an adult Halloween Dance at the fire station beginning at 8 p.m. as a fundraiser. It will include a Halloween costume contest. Anyone is welcome. There will be an admission charge.
