Check out the Farmer's Market

Posted

A weekly Farmer’s Market is being held every Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. in downtown West Liberty on Spencer Street through Oct. 30, presented by the West Liberty Chamber of Commerce.

Patrons can find fresh vegetables, refreshments, snacks, home-made jams and jellies, home-made soaps, baked goods, apparel, gift items and more as anywhere from eight to 16 vendors offer items.

The Chamber and director Charles Brooke are also in the midst of helping plan the annual Trick or Treat Trail event on Tuesday, Oct. 31, on Heritage Trail on the west end of the community with the West Liberty Community Park District. The organization is also setting the stage for the annual Holiday Open House, set for Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 18-19, in downtown West Liberty.
