Bette Jean Hallmark died on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017 at the age of 64.
Bette was born on Dec. 1, 1952 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Glenn Theodore and Gertrude Elizabeth (Haylock) Hagans. She graduated from high school in West Liberty, Iowa. Bette was employed as a Senior Buyer by Quanta Engineering Services.
In 2009 Bette married Craig Hallmark. Bette was a wonderful wife and mother. She adored her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. Bette was a member of the Corvette Club and could be found driving around in her prized corvette. She also enjoyed hanging out with her girlfriends and having a good glass of wine. Bette was talented at crochet and loved to travel.
Bette is survived by children, Jason G. Bryan, Broken Arrow, OK, Kris Bryan and wife Starr, Tulsa, OK, Cassie Chitty and husband Brandon, Broken Arrow, OK; Grandchildren, Reagan, Paisley, Asher, Maxine, Finley, Chloe, Cody, Abby, Garrett, Kate, Conner, Madison; Step-Daughters, Lisa Chatham and husband Dennis, Austin, TX, Lori Tipping and husband Coy, Orlando, FL; Sisters, Shari Rae Carter-Steiner, Eldridge, IA, Diane Lynn Martin, Roswell, NM; Father of the Children, Russell Bryan, Broken Arrow, OK
Bette was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Craig.
A celebration of the life of Bette Jean Hallmark was held Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017 at First Church of the Nazarene, Broken Arrow, OK. Viewing was at the church prior to the service.
