The Summer Lunch Program, sponsored by the West Liberty School District, is now at the halfway point. The participation this year has been better and more consistent than in previous years.
The lunches are served every day, Monday thru Friday, from 11-11:20 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church Hall.
St. Mary’s has opened a ‘Mini-Library’ at the Parish Hall. A large inventory of books for both youth and adults is available for summer reading. There are some magazines and a few older movies available also.
Anyone in the community is welcome to visit the hall and borrow a book or two. The Hall is open from 11-11:30 a.m. on weekdays. You may call Toni at 319-723-4468 if that time doesn’t fit your schedule and she will gladly allow access to the library.
