Tyler, Dolan and Greiner all earn wins at WLR

Dash winner Bobby Mincer used a break from a late race caution to his advantage as he passed Matt Sutton on a restart on lap fourteen and went on to win the twenty lap Sprint Invader feature here at the Muscatine County Fairgrounds and the West Liberty Raceway Saturday night. It was the first win of the season on the tour for Mincer who is seventh in current points. Sutton the current point leader lead lap one through thirteen and finished second, flyin Ryan Jamison currently second in points was third, Mike Houseman Jr. fourth,with Kaley Gharst fifth. Bobby Mincer won the fast dash, with Ryan Jamison and Matt Sutton winning the two Sprint Invader heat races.

Ryan Dolan passed Dan Brockert on the restart on lap thirteen of the Gustaf Engine and Machine a Modified feature and never looked back in recording the twenty lap victory. Brockert had lead the race to that point, but Dolan had been laying the ground work running the top side lap after lap making it work. Dolan with the win showed he was back on track! Brockert finished second, Todd Hansen third, Bruce Hanford fourth back behind the wheel after some time off with back surgery and looking good, with Johnny Spaw fifth.

Matt Greiner grabbed the lead from Greg Gill on lap twelve and went to win his sixth Kile Stock Car feature win of the season. David Brandies lead laps one through eleven however and expired engine ended his night on lap eleven. Gill placed second, Matt Picray third, Cody Harris fourth, with C.J. Michel fifth. Afterwards drivers Matt Greiner and Greg Gill were torn down and checked for roller cams and both found to check out legal.

Brad Tyler took the lead from Zach Less on lap two and went on to win the fifteen lap Spenler Tire B-modified feature. The win for Tyler was his fourth overall for 2010. Jarett Franzen was second, Zach Less third, Greg Gill subbing for Jerry Pratt tonight in his machine fourth, with Rick Housman fifth.

No stranger to victory lane here at West Liberty Nathan Chandler grabbed the lead away from Shaun Slaughter on lap six and lead the remaining four laps in winning his first US 6 Body Works flyer feature for 2010 here at the speedway. Brother Brad Chandler was second, Adrianne Doy her best run of 2010 finishing third, Jordan Walker fourth, with Jeff Miller fifth.

This Saturday is the Johnnie B’s Restaurant and 3 Dog Night with the Late Models back and the A-Mods, B-Mods and the Stock Car classes. See you at the track.
